All of our four babies found homes. We will have to enjoy our remaining time with them.

Little faces, chubby bellies, and furry tails. All kittens/animals are precious but our Siberians are sonething special. Kittens are 9 weeks and 1 day old. Proof that the time flies by.

Kittens are 9 weeks old. They are growing like weeds. They will definitely become big cats. It's really cool to watch them restle or chase each other. Cannot get enough of them.

I am in front of my computer and there are kittahs everywhere. One of them is sleeping on my cell phone. Other one took over the mouse. One of them is totally excited about the sound of keystrokes. He is "helping" me type. Mommy and two others are on my right. They are everywhere.

It looks like we will start 2011 with our next litter. They should arrive sometime in February 2011. Our journey starts again. We are sooo excited and cannot wait for these kitties. :)

Last couple days with the kittens. Four of them will be going to their new homes tomorrow and remaining one goes on Monday. Better make the most of our remaining time with them. We will definitely miss them.

It feels like yesterday. We were thinking if Lapa could give birth on a weekend, but nooo! She had to pick a Monday evening.

So, we started our parenting duties. She gave birth one buy one, and cleaned them up. It's really amazing yet quite stressful to see this happen. The question in the back of our mind is whether they will all make it. The little things went right into nursing. We had to do our 72 hours non-stop guarding just to make sure things were okey. Of course, after the first 72 hours, then there is the first week.

Look at them know. All of our little kids are growing. They are full of energy and joy.

I don't care whoever says the opposite, this is the best way to relax. Grab all of them, put them on your lap, pet them and hear them purr. This is the best remedy for stress. You had a bad day at work or something bothers you, grab one of them and relax.

Now at 10 weeks old, Waivey and Runway are looking for new homes. They will be ready to leave our home the week of December 6th. What a purrfect xmas gift! ;)

They have a lot of energy. There is a marathon between office and living room almost every hour. The adult cats join them too. After a while, they get tired, cuddle up and sleep together. : )

5 kittens finally met their dad, Sasha. He was very curious. He came sniffing around, and cleaned them. The kittens are extremely curious. After a while, Sasha decided to climb on top of the couch and watch them from there.
They spent an hour together. I think he likes the kittens.

Our kittens are now 6 weeks old. : )

The little ones are playing the "under the door attack" game. You can see their little paws sticking out under the door.

All of the adults are curious to meet them. They pile up in front of the door and watch the kittens' paws. Of course, when Sasha sees that, he tries to reach them on the other side.

We will probably introduce the kittens to their dad, Sasha, sometime next week.

White socks was sleeping on my foot this morning. All of these kittens are very friendly. They come towards you, climb on your lap, or back and take a nap. They love to be held. They are going to have great personalities!

O wow, the kittens are 10 days old now. A reminder of how time flies by. Their meow started to get louder. When they are not happy, they really scream.

The funny thing is some of the birds around our house sound just like them. So, every single time I hear something that sounds like a kitty, I get up and go check on them. I woke up 6 times last night and I am sleepy at work now. Better curl up under the desk and take a nap.

Our journey starts once again. Lapa was restless, and gave all the signs that she was close. We took her to her nesting room. Sure enough, she started delivering her kittens around 19:46 last night. It took her 1 hour 32 minutes. She was really exhausted by the end.

It's really amazing to watch the birth. As soon as the mommy cleans the kitten, she climbs up searching for a nipple. They have been feeding since last night. Lapa took couple short breaks and went right back to her duty.

We have a big job in hand. First 72 hours are extremely important!

Now that all of our little buggers are gone, the house feels awfully quite. No riots, or no chases. We already missed every single one of them. On top of that, Venus has been looking for her babies. So sad...

So sad, I cannot believe they are ready to go to a new home already. We are going to miss them terribly. At least, we know that they are going to new homes where they will be loved and taken good care of.

The little ones figured out to use the curtain just like a rock climbing wall to reach to the top of the den. Once they are there, they cry for help because they cannot get down. :P

Of course, he had to dig out half of the litter out of the box. Ayca is the second one after him.

Lapa has arrived.

We are proud to announce that we added another female to our cattery. Her name is Lapa and came all the way from Russia. She has a wonderful coat and good size for a 4 month old kitten.

She is very playful and loving. This morning, she was purring loudly while she was sitting on my lap. She is not shy either. As soon as she was home, she started exploring her surroundings and talking to our other kitties.

We cannot wait to take her to TICA/CFA shows.

Kittens are now 4 weeks old. Kind of a reminder how time flies by. Last night, the brown mackerel tabby got out of the den. The brown torbie girl followed her after a few minutes later. Then the black mackerel tabby got out. They are very hyper!

Two of them already found wonderful homes. We are very glad to know that they will be loved and taken good care of.

The other two have been spoken for but nothing solid yet. We will see what happens in the next day or so.

Venus is funny. She would go out to check on Sasha, and walk around a little bit. As soon as I open the bedroom's door and say "Venus - babies" , she will come running to the bedroom. Isn't that cute?

What else to say! They cancelled the ColdFusion hosting. Migrated everything to another server. Now, fuzzysiberians.com is down!

I called godaddy this morning, and paid for the ColdFusion hosting again. The guy at tech support told me it would take 2-3 hours for the site to come back up!

After 7 hours, I called back godaddy tech support. The site is still down. The new guy tells me that the first guy "did not activate my ColdFusion account". On top of that, he tells me that he charged me wrong. Instead of adding ColdFusion service to the one domain, he adds ColdFusion to two other domains I own at godaddy. On top of that, he tells me it will take 24 hours for the site to come out.

The kittens are gaining weight nicely. In the morning of day four, one of them weighs 181gr and the rest of them weigh between 161 and 163 grams.

The babies are growing fast. One of them gained 32grams (31.68% of the previous body weight) in less than 12 hours. Average is 28%. Venus is such a great mommy!

Yeee, we have kittens. Venus started labor this morning. First one arrived @ 06:45, second @ 07:05 and the third one @ 07:33. They all look like their dad, Sasha : )

A Truly Sad Day!

Tricia told me that one of the black kitties in our neighborhood was hit by a car and she was lying on the ground lifeless. This is the second kitty run over by a car within the last couple years. On top of that, I personally saw another one tumble under a minivan. It sucked to watch everything happen before my eyes and not being able to help. Luckily enough, this kitty run away fine after she rolled under the van many times. Who to blame: the irresponsible owners who let their cats out where busy streets are located nearby or the drivers who don’t pay any attention to their surroundings while driving. By the way, these two kitties were killed by a 4-way stop sign where the speed limit is 25mph!

I even caught a doggie twice running around by our house. He dug himself out of his owner’s backyard and escaped. He was lucky because I caught him before anything bad happened to him.

Over the years, Katja has been visited by a variety of cats many times. It’s really heart breaking to see any pets run over by cars.

Rest in peace little black kitty!

We took Sasha and Katja out for shopping. They seem to enjoy PetSmart very much. Katja was checking out the cat trees while Sasha was sniffing out the various foods. They caught everybody's attention. Of course, everybody had to pet them. : )

Sasha keeps growing and continues to be our little cuddle bug. I have never seen a cat in my life as much loving as him. Kind of funny, he acts like he is not a cat at all. Katja grew a long coat. She looks like a fur ball rolling around the house.
Finally, we are still looking for another female for Sasha. Hope to find another show quality kitten soon.

Sasha, the cuddle bug, has a new habbit. Climbs upto the bed, crawls up on my chest, makes himself comfortable and falls asleep. It all happens at 3 in the morning. Around 4, Katja and Sasha start to play chase. All you hear is their little paw-steps. I wonder how long I will survive with 4-5 hours of sleep a night?
