Lapa gave birth to five kittens

Our journey starts once again. Lapa was restless, and gave all the signs that she was close. We took her to her nesting room. Sure enough, she started delivering her kittens around 19:46 last night. It took her 1 hour 32 minutes. She was really exhausted by the end.

It's really amazing to watch the birth. As soon as the mommy cleans the kitten, she climbs up searching for a nipple. They have been feeding since last night. Lapa took couple short breaks and went right back to her duty.

We have a big job in hand. First 72 hours are extremely important!

Our kitties are gone to their new homes.

Siberian Cat, Siberian Kitten

Now that all of our little buggers are gone, the house feels awfully quite. No riots, or no chases. We already missed every single one of them. On top of that, Venus has been looking for her babies. So sad...

Our kittens are leaving our home this week.

So sad, I cannot believe they are ready to go to a new home already. We are going to miss them terribly. At least, we know that they are going to new homes where they will be loved and taken good care of.

How about a Fuzzy Siberians Pet Store ?

We have been thinking about opening an online store which specializes on cat products. It looks like we have found an investor and the business plan started rolling. There are still a lot of things to consider. One of them is to create a list of popular products. We will appreciate if you visit our site and fill out the small survey.

We want to know what you think.

Thanks in advance.

Climbing - 101

The little ones figured out to use the curtain just like a rock climbing wall to reach to the top of the den. Once they are there, they cry for help because they cannot get down. :P

The learning curve.

Dima is the first one to use the kitty litter box.

Of course, he had to dig out half of the litter out of the box. Ayca is the second one after him.

Let's see when the other two starts using the litter box. By the way, Dima is still available. Please check out http://www.fuzzysiberians.com for more pictures of him.
